The tale
Thu 20 Aug 2026, 19:301 h 47 min · level 1 → 2
Dusk was gathering as Roar left Brill for the wilds. Hardly a blade was drawn: 3 fights, Scarlet Converts the worst of it. Once a Rot Hide Brute, 2 Scarlet Converts and a Rattlecage Skeleton came at Roar together, and Roar stood firm. Liar Fentho challenged Roar to a duel, all in good sport. Roar and Nelar Minel hunted as one for an hour or so. Worth remembering, so Roar took a photo of the group before the pull. A new level, 2, and new things to learn. The outing lasted 1 h 47 min, and every minute of it counted.

Sat 22 Aug 2026, 19:512 h 55 min · level 2 → 4
As evening fell over Tirisfal Glades, Roar went out from Brill. Just 3 fights, the Rattlecage Skeletons more nuisance than danger. Arar Tanel crossed Roar's path. Thoar Ronel traded with Roar on the way. Commonplace Herb Seeds, pried from a fallen foe, was the prize. Two new levels; Roar was 4 when it was over.

Tue 25 Aug 2026, 20:321 h 49 min · level 4 → 5
Roar rode out from Brill into the red evening. From Decrepit Darkhounds to Scarlet Converts, Roar met 6 kinds of trouble in 7 fights. Roar came through every fight on her feet. Kais Brinel, Saar Gartho and Isar Vennel made a party of it with Roar. Briar Kanel passed by on the same road. Level 5 came with the last of the light. 1 h 49 min later, Roar was back at Brill and glad of it.

Fri 28 Aug 2026, 21:2355 min · level 5 → 7
By torchlight Roar picked a way out of Brill. Every hollow held something new: Scarlet Converts here, Decrepit Darkhounds there, 7 fights in the end. A fight against 2 Scarlet Converts, a Rotting Dead and a Decrepit Darkhound at once left Roar breathing hard. Not a single fight was lost. There was company on the road: Garar Sanel, Saar Gartho and Ular Dornel and 1 others, swords out with Roar. A friendly duel with Dorar Ultho broke the routine. There is a photo of it: a new mount. Two levels in one outing: Roar came back at 7.

Mon 31 Aug 2026, 10:031 h 19 min · level 7 → 8
Roar spent the morning beyond Brill. 6 kinds of foe and 6 fights; the Duskbats were the most stubborn. At one point a Rotting Dead, a Duskbat and 2 Rattlecage Skeletons rushed in at once; it was a near thing. Fenar Linel, Arar Tanel and Briar Kanel watched Roar's back, and Roar watched theirs. Roar crossed blades with Briar Kanel in a duel, for the fun of it. The best find of the day was Azora Apprentice Notes: Page 4. One photo from the day: a new mount. By the end of it Roar had reached level 8. Barely 1 h 19 min before Roar called it.

Tue 1 Sep 2026, 17:323 h 03 min · level 8 → 9
The evening brought Roar back to the roads beyond Brill. Roar lost count of the kinds of foe somewhere past the Duskbats; 6 fights in all. The worst moment: 2 Decrepit Darkhounds and a Duskbat together, and Roar still standing after. A Decrepit Darkhound had the better of Roar once, and the spirit healer saw Roar again. Saar Gartho stopped to trade goods with Roar. A fallen foe gave up Waylaid Supplies: Rough Stone. Level 9, earned the hard way. A long outing, 3 h 03 min in all.

Chapter I · Tirisfal Glades
Fri 4 Sep 2026, 1:1649 min · level 9 → 10
Under a black sky Roar went looking for trouble beyond Brill. Nothing in Tirisfal Glades wanted Roar there: 6 fights, 4 kinds of foe. Roar pulled 2 Rot Hide Plague Weavers, a Rattlecage Skeleton and a Duskbat at once, on purpose or not, and won anyway. It went badly once: Roar fell to a Duskbat, and made the long walk back from the spirit healer. Liar Fentho and Ular Dornel fought beside Roar for a while. The bags were heavier by Puk's Friendship Bracelet. Level 10: the first real trial passed. Only 49 minutes, but worth it.

The morning was young when Roar crossed out of Brill into the wilds. 3 fights, quick ones, and then the road was empty. Roar caught sight of Thoar Ronel along the way. A trade was struck with Dorar Ultho. Waylaid Supplies: Brown Linen Pants came out of the fighting, and went straight into the bags. Roar stopped long enough to take a picture: the last light. Somewhere along the way Roar grew stronger: level 11.
